Refunds & delivery

1. Where you buy and pay1.

Dak Duck printables are sold through the Etsy shop DakDuckStudioMY, which is operated by the company's founder as an individual Etsy seller. Ordering, payment, delivery and refunds all happen on Etsy, under Etsy's policies and the shop's policies. This page explains them in one place. PLANYGO SOFTWARE SDN. BHD. does not take payments on this website and is not the seller of Etsy orders.

PLANYGO SOFTWARE SDN. BHD.

The price on the Etsy listing is final. Etsy may display it converted into your local currency, and the total you pay, including any tax Etsy adds, is shown at Etsy checkout.

2. Delivery2. 交付

Instant downloads

Most items are instant downloads. Your files are ready as soon as Etsy confirms your payment. Open etsy.com in a web browser (a computer, or Safari/Chrome on your phone; downloads don't work inside the Etsy app). Sign in with the same account you ordered with, click your profile picture at the top right, choose Purchases and reviews, find the order and click Download files. You can also use the Download files button in Etsy's order email. If you checked out as a guest, use the link in that email.

Custom Chinese name tracing (made to order)

The custom name tracing kit is made for the name you type in the Personalisation box when you order. The shop makes the files and uploads them to your Etsy order within 2 business days. Etsy emails you when they are ready, and you download them from Purchases and reviews as above. If a character in the name has more than one common reading, the shop may message you through Etsy to check the pinyin.

Nothing is shipped

All items are digital files that you print yourself. Nothing physical is shipped, so there is no shipping fee.

3. File formats3.

• Most items come as two PDF files: one sized for A4 paper and one for US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). Use the one that matches your paper.
• Some sets, such as the flashcards and colouring pages, also include a ZIP file of PNG images for use on a tablet or phone.
• Each Etsy listing says exactly which files you get and how many pages they have. Print tips are in the listing and inside the files.
• You need a PDF reader to open the files and a printer to print them.
• Dak Duck artwork is AI-assisted and finished by hand. Each listing says how its files were made.

4. If a download does not work4.

2. If you checked out as a guest, use the download link in the email Etsy sent you.
3. For help with downloading digital items, see the Etsy Help Center at help.etsy.com.
4. If it still does not work, message the shop through Etsy Messages on your order. The shop will send you the files through Etsy Messages.

5. Refunds, returns and cancellations5.

Digital files are delivered straight away and cannot be sent back, so the shop does not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations of digital items for a change of mind. Because a custom name kit is made for one name, it cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind once it has been delivered. If it is faulty or not as described, see below.

If something is wrong with a file, the shop will put it right. If a file is faulty (for example it will not open or is corrupted) or is not as described in the listing (for example pages are missing), message the shop. The shop will fix the file or send a replacement. If the problem cannot be put right that way, a refund is given through Etsy where Etsy's policies or the law require it. Please message the shop within 7 days of receiving the file so it can be fixed quickly; if you notice a problem later, contact the shop anyway, because your statutory rights still apply. For a custom name kit, a typo, a missing tone mark or a character that does not display properly will be corrected and the files resent free of charge.

6. How to ask for a fix or refund6.

• Open the order in Purchases and reviews on Etsy and message the shop through Etsy Messages. Say what is wrong and, if you can, add a screenshot.
• If you cannot use Etsy Messages, email hello@dakduck.com and include your Etsy order number. We will pass your message on to the shop so the order can be dealt with.
• Any refund is issued through Etsy to the payment method you used for the order. How long the money takes to reach you depends on Etsy and on your bank or card issuer.

7. Etsy Purchase Protection7. Etsy

Orders on Etsy may also be covered by Etsy Purchase Protection. It runs under Etsy's own rules, and Etsy decides whether an order qualifies. The details are on Etsy's Purchase Protection page at etsy.com/etsy-purchase-protection. If there is a problem with your files, please message the shop first so it can be fixed.

8. Your statutory rights8.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other law that applies to you and cannot be excluded.
